The National President of ERCAAN, Hon. Godwin Alenkhe recently visited the Ogun State Chapter to console members on the passing of Chief Nurudeen Ogunbona Efa, a revered member of the Board of Trustees.
During his visit, Hon. Alenkhe attended a State Council meeting at the Secretariat in Ijeja, Abeokuta, where he expressed his appreciation to members for their steadfastness and unwavering commitment to ERCAAN. He reaffirmed the national body’s resolutions for 2026 and appealed to council members for their continued support in achieving these objectives.

He assured members that the national body, under his leadership, would ensure a befitting burial for the late ERCAAN patriot, with the support of his family and ERCAAN members nationwide.
A five-man local burial committee was subsequently constituted, headed by the National Vice President from Ogun State, Hon. Friday Ojo Thomas, to oversee the burial arrangements.
The delegation, which included the current State Chairman, Hon. Abiodun Adejobi; past chairmen, Hon. Ogunleke and Hon. Joseph Ojo; as well as other eminent members, later proceeded to the residence of the late Trustee to pay their last respects.
